Jeff knew at a young age that he had a passion for basketball. He became a student of the game, at the tender age of 5, practicing day after day in his hometown Philadelphia, PA. Jeff’s love for the game and his determination to succeed in basketball followed him to Seattle, WA where he played at Interlake High School, Bellevue Community College and Seattle University. 

Recently Jeff was named in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most free throws made in two minutes while alternating hands. “Jeff Harris (USA) made 44 basketball free throws in two minutes using alternate hands at the NBA All-Star Jam Session in Dallas, Texas, USA, on February 10, 2010.” 2010 Guinness World Records Limited, Page 248.

Jeff has been teaching for over 12 years. He breaks the game down, teaching his strategies and his skills to people at all skill levels and all ages, in a way that is understandable and applicable to actual game play. Jeff believes in working hard and smart. He has coached individuals between the ages of 6 -63. More importantly he has coached players at all levels from beginners to NBA ALL-STAR players. Jeff’s detail oriented approach has been proven to be successful. Through an extensive and arduous process of analysis, he developed a unique perspective that he teaches players. While Jeff directs his attention to the biomechanical aspects of basketball skills including ball-handling and shooting.

“Learn how to shoot effectively” Co-ed course for 3rd-5th graders

 “Offensive (fast break) & Defensive Transition” for 9th-12th Grade Boys

•Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm

•Emphasis: Players will learn how to run a primary & secondary fast break. Players will also learn how to run a transition defense against a primary and secondary fast break. 

•*(Only experienced players will be allowed to participate in this event.)

 “Shooting Various Types of Outside Shots” for 7th-12th Grade Girls

•Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

•Emphasis: Players will learn how to shoot a bank shot, elbow shot, short corner shot, step back shot, catch and shoot, shoot off screens, shoot out of transition, fade & shoot and shot off the dribble.

•Emphasis: Players will learn how to effectively set screens & roll to the basket, how to hedge, bump or open up on screens, how to get over the top or bottom of screens, how to ask for multiple screens, how to stretch the defense, how not to switch and how to create a mismatch.

One Day Camps
Both of the one day camps are designed for both beginners and intermediate players who have played competitively. The camps have been carefully designed for both beginners and intermediate students who have played competitively. Coach Harris’s workouts are detailed, intense and competitive. These sessions are designed to teach and enhance the players ball-handling, shooting and footwork. Coach Harris’s attention to detail combined with his ability to teach the strategies and critique the players will be beneficial to students.

Information on One Day Shooting Camp
This 3.5 hour camp is designed to help individuals develop their skills in a non-competitive environment. Coach Harris will train and work with each player so that they will be able to grasp the basic skills needed to enhance their shooting ability. The camp is designed for 6th-12th graders. Coach Harris will go over different shots such as the jump shot, layups, fade away, leaner, bankshot, lay-up, hook shot and free throw. Students will be given a shooting pamphlet at the end of the session as an addittion to continue their training.

Information on one day ball handling camp
This 3.5 hour camp is designed to help individuals develop their skills in a non-competitive environment. Coach Harris will train and instruct each player so that they will be able to grasp the basic skills needed to enhance their ball handling ability. The camp is designed for 6th-12th graders. Coach Harris will provide all the instruction. Students will be given a ball handling pamphlet at the end of the session as an addittion to continue their training.

Where are these classes taught?
These classes will be held in the Clubhouse at 300 Vuemont Place NE Renton, WA 98056 unless otherwise stated.

Is videotaping or taking notes permitted? 
No. Videotaping or taking notes is NOT permitted. Any video or written material can be provided by Jeff.

What is the refund policy?
These workouts are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Missing a session will not result in a refund

Camp Rules
Are parents and/or coaches allowed to stay and observe the workouts/camps?

Parents and coaches are permitted to stay and observe the camps. Students are not allowed to bring friends or colleagues to watch without prior approval from Coach Harris.
